Season opening #10 with several new exhibitions..... We open the new season on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10.00.

More than 140,000 happy visitors have experienced the unique museum since we opened in May 2014. Of course, this needs to be celebrated a bit, so in addition to the fact that you can always "fly" in the large airplane or the MI-8 helicopter, it will be possible to "test fly" the legendary HIND MI-24 Soviet combat helicopter on April 27 and 28. There will also be some great offers this weekend in the great souvenir shop Panzermagazinet. All popular Cobi Briks are 35% off, including rare, discontinued collector's models. Of course, we also have the popular A.H.Riise Rum and when you buy a bottle of the fantastic Non Plus Ultra series, you get a bottle of delicious A.H. Riise cream liqueur included in the price (value 199,-)

On Saturday, several members of the Danish Military Historical Vehicle Association will be present and showcase different vehicles and there will be driving with the small exciting tanks in size 1/16 on the track. The FUT course is of course open and, as always, it gives a diploma when you have completed it on time. But unfortunately we can't run the exciting off-road safari yet due to the wet spring.

We look forward to seeing you in good weather for a great opening weekend 🙂

PANZERMUSEUM EAST PRESENTS SCANDINAVIA'S LARGEST AND MOST EXCITING PRESENTATION OF THE ENTIRE COLD WAR PERIOD FROM AROUND 1950 UNTIL THE DISSOLUTION OF THE SOVIET UNION IN 1991.

In the 4500m2 halls, you'll see lots of Soviet equipment such as tanks, armored and non-armored wheeled vehicles, helicopters and all the other equipment needed for an invasion of Denmark. See the terrifying mobile field hospital, the large field bakery and much much more, all of which we would see on the streets and in the air in Denmark, well, only those of us who had survived the nuclear attack from the terrifyingly violent war machine that the Soviet Pact possessed throughout that tense period.
The whole thing is spiced up with a lot of authentic propaganda films, written text and more than 100 mannequins, and there is also a very informative exhibition about Denmark's civil preparedness that shows what you could or could not do in the event of a nuclear attack.

The exhibitions inevitably trigger thoughts and imagination about how bad things could have gone if a nuclear attack, or rather hell in Europe, had been launched. For example, book a guided tour and get a narrative as part of the experience.

SCANDINAVIA'S LARGEST PRIVATE COLLECTION OF MILITARY VEHICLES

PanzerMuseum East is Scandinavia's largest private collection of military vehicles from the Warsaw Pact. Here you will find tanks, armored personnel carriers, armored infantry fighting vehicles, self-propelled and towed artillery, surface-to-air missile systems, field hospitals, trucks, jeeps, uniforms, medals, decorations and technical equipment such as engines, fire control, radio communication and motorcycles.
