UNIFORMER

Although they are the natural focal point of the collection, it's not just the vehicles that have star status at Panzermuseum East. The differences in uniforms and equipment of the soldiers from the Warsaw Pact countries can be seen at the museum. For example, the uniforms of the GDR army as well as the clothing and equipment of the Czechoslovakian and Polish forces are presented here. In addition, we also aim to exhibit important non-combat-related military items such as military stoves, radio communication, gas and mine detection procedures, NBC equipment, etc. Furthermore, dramatic societal scenarios are depicted, such as civilian citizens' attempts to escape from states that would not let them go.
